You know, I didn’t realize what Yokeup meant when he used to call me an ooshy-gooshy Christian. I really didn’t get it. I talked about hell, on occasion. I talked about the dangers of sin, on occasion. Still, I did it all in a way that put me in a place where people like ProfMTH, Brett Keane, and Ashe the Raven still thought I was a ‘decent guy’ (to quote their own term)… however, over the last six months or so, as I’ve gotten a little more bolder about the truth and the consequences of ignoring sin; as I’ve gotten a little more vocal about the trash that atheists try to pass of as as their opinions concerning Our Lord and Savior; I’ve noticed a few things that have really brought it all together.
First of all, I’ve noticed that several of my so-called Christian buddies have slipped away… gone silent… poof! Vanished! The second the heat was turned up they scattered… why? I don’t know, maybe they didn’t want to get into the thick of the battle. Maybe they were afraid of how it might impact their channel’s popularity? Maybe they just don’t understand how they are enabling God-haters by being part of their acceptable Christians club?
Second, I found that when you speak the clear and honest truth from the scriptures, those same Christians do not stand up and even yip out an amen. They will literally sit back and leave you to fight the good fight allowing people that they chat with and that they are cozy with to spit all over God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and their brothers and sisters in Christ. Do they think their silence is going to leave them in a position to save these God-haters? Bah – I tried that route, and it doesn’t put a Christian in any other position than the fetal position, sucking his thumbs hoping that the God-haters will continue to avoid pointing their fingers at them.
Finally – I found that the only videos that really seem to get views are the ones that strike a chord with people concerning the truth. Come out and make a video about the love of Christ… and it goes quietly down the list of videos as newer videos come out, but put out a video that confronts the likes of ProfMTH and suddenly views are popping and the message box is full! But its all God-haters…
Man – when you are over the target – you really do stir the bees nest – and what do you know? Most of those people who Yokeup said was part of the huggie crowd have backed away! Not all of them – but most of them. I thank God for the brothers and sisters who haven’t disappeared… but by in large – the old crew has run away… too fearful? Hmmm… I wonder.
Over the Target?
