All at once, everything you knew is destroyed. Everything you you considered safe and reliable is broken, and there’s nothing you can do about it. Life is over as you know it. Even the good things seem tainted.
Tears may come and tears may go but nothing seems to numb the pain. Drink and drugs just go so far and then they rob your flesh of its ability to function. So what’s left. Depression, frustration, anger, suicide?
Though your heart has been stomped like a misfortunate bee found flying too low to the ground, your fate does not have to be as crushing as that of the bee… and even though you can’t believe what I am writing right now, this too shall pass.
Others will say I am weak for suggesting what I am about to suggest – but I say oh well to the critics… the way to healing is through Jesus Christ. He is our Savior, and if we repent and follow Him – He will give us the endurance to over come all heartaches. Don’t believe me? All I can do is testify that it has worked for me in the past and that its working for me even today.
Glory be to God – forever and ever.
